Just the Right Touch
I have been looking for the best pair of shoes for this year’s Christmas party.
I will be going as one of the fairies, and the pair of shoes that should go with my costume should be the pixie flat ballet shoes.
I didn’t want that.
I wanted to be as tall as I could be, especially in those pixie costume, a fairy would absolutely look perfectly pixie in great costume shoes.
A friend also had to look for another pair of costume shoes, as she was going to be Pocahontas. So she needed suede boots but she wanted them in flats.
With the right costume shoes, you cinch your outfit, so to speak, yet you do not appear homely and ordinary with just any type of shoe.
Costume shoes should, as they are part of your costume, enhance and finish the effect. You may have the best costume or gown, but then the pair of shoes you opted to wear did not make an impact.
So heels or not, platform or flats, sexy and strappy or buckle and fully-covered feet, your costume shoes must be your period, in a sentence.
They should be just the perfect touch when you enter a room, or attend a party.
Costumes make you look different from what you are in ordinary days, so why make your costume shoes any different, right?
They should be the right touch, and the best accessory.
